The Perth Mint is launching three superb collectable issues marking the 50th anniversary of humankind’s greatest adventure to date.
Sharing a design representing the Lunar Module Eagle and a footprint on the surface of the Moon, the Australian legal tender releases are struck in proof quality from 1oz of 99.99% pure gold, 1oz of 99.99% pure silver and in high relief from 5oz of 99.99% pure silver.
No more than 500 1oz gold, 7,500 1oz silver and 1,000 5oz silver coins will be released.
The 1oz gold coin is housed in a classic display case with a wooden lid. The silver coins are individually housed in a classic display case with a clear lid. Each coin is packaged within an illustrated shipper and accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
